This course has been designed to provide water treatment operators with a basic understanding of water distribution principles, techniques, technologies, and best practices. Given the relationship between water treatment output and water distribution, this program is geared to provide treatment operator with an increased appreciation of the broader water protection perspective.

- Typical appurtenances (valves, hydrants, etc.)
- Technology alternatives
- Maintaining chlorine residuals
- Water sampling within distribution system
