Introduction to Wastewater Management Using Simulator Model

Description

Introduction to Wastewater Management using Simulator Model (WWT-71-SIM):

This five-day course is designed for senior operational staff and operators for plant process and process optimization. Concentrating on the activated sludge process will enhance the participant’s knowledge and understanding of plant processes and process control objectives. Course participants will also gain an understanding of plant optimizations and learn troubleshooting skills for plant processes from inlet to outlet and overall process management.

We will be using a user-friendly simulator model with a comprehensive database of wastewater unit processes allowing users to predict effluent quality under varying conditions to meet effluent requirements, enter characterization data, and run simulations.

What will be covered:

  • Wastewater characterization
  • Process overview using Simulator
  • Understanding components of Activated Sludge processes using simulator
  • Troubleshooting and optimization using simulator
  • Mathematical applications
