Ponds & Lagoons (WWT-11-CT):
This course has been designed to assist wastewater operators with the operation and maintenance of ponds and lagoons. The participants will gain knowledge in the basic chemistry and microbiology of ponds and lagoons.
What will be covered:
- Pond classifications; how the treatment occurs; microbiology of lagoons; nitrification; algae control and removal
