Municipal Wastewater Sewer Use Sampling & Monitoring (WWC-25-CT):
The objective of this course is to familiarize wastewater collection and treatment plant personnel with the municipality’s Sewer Use By-Law, focusing on sampling and monitoring techniques to identify non-compliant discharges and other inputs impeding the proper functioning of the collection system.

- Terms and conditions of the By-Law will be outlined such as:
- Types of sewers
- Discharge limits to sewers
- Monitoring requirements
- Reporting requirements
- The Ministry’s Sampling and Analysis Protocol cited in legislation for both municipal and industrial discharges

- Case studies
