Introductory Math (OIT) (WD-22-CT):

This course has been designed to assist candidates in preparation for the Operator-in-Training for Water Distribution licensing exams through the instruction and review of mathematic principles. Participants will be provided with a series of quizzes and practice questions to identify areas of weakness for further study.

What will be covered:

  • Addition, subtraction, multiplication & division
  • Circumference components: units, rectangles, squares, triangles, and circles
  • Metric unit systems and the use of conversion charts
  • Introductory measurement of velocity and flow rates

Duration: 1 Day
