This one-day course will provide information about WHMIS, personal protective equipment, identification, storage and handling of the most common water treatment chemicals.
What will be covered:
- The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
- Types of personal protective equipment to be used for safe chemical handling
- Properties of the most common water treatment chemicals
- Potential hazards of chemicals
- Chemical handling and storage requirements
- Procedures for handling chemical spills
